I teach and advise students majoring in Sustainable Agriculture and Agricultural Business Management. My background is in organic vegetable farming, and I also love keeping chickens. The garden serves as a place where I can help students apply skills learned in the classroom, connect socially with other Terps, and eat the best food around.

I love gardening as a way to foster deeper connections with the UMD community and the natural world! Through our sustainable agriculture techniques, we're able to benefit soil health, help sequester carbon, repair nutrient cycles, and contribute to environmental biodiversity. It's so important to me that the produce grown is donated so everyone can benefit!
